Drug screening is not part of the DOT physical. Drivers who need a drug screen may be referred to Asure Test, Inc in St. Charles, MO.

A urine specimen is required. The routine DOT urinalysis is not a drug screen.
Avoid them before the appointment when possible because they may temporarily increase blood pressure.

No. Two years is the maximum certification period. The actual period depends on the driver’s history, examination findings and whether a condition requires closer monitoring.

National Registry Certified Medical Examiner
Dr. Glenn Ezell performs DOT examinations for commercial drivers throughout St. Charles County and the greater St. Louis area.
The goal is to provide an efficient, respectful and driver-friendly examination while following current FMCSA medical certification requirements. When a driver has a medical condition or takes a prescription medication, Dr. Ezell explains what documentation may be needed to complete the review.
We work with individual drivers, local employers and commercial fleets. Contact the office to discuss appointments for multiple drivers or an ongoing company relationship. We are currently looking to add more school bus driver contracts.
